Meet the team
Ian Alcock
​
Ian began HR Advice Australia in 2010 with the objective to create an innovative Human Resources support service specifically focused on the needs of small to medium-sized employers. He was motivated to create his own agency as an avenue to bring his expertise to SMEs, following more than thirty years business experience in Australia, the UK and continental Europe.
His business experience includes enterprise leadership and executive management of a number of financial services companies, management consulting, and complex administration service providers. He has also held a number of non-executive board positions and similar roles.
He was appointed a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia in 2002, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 1996 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders.
He is an experienced mentor to business owners and corporate executives. He is a trained and accomplished executive performance coach and DiSC behaviour profiler. He is also an ENS International-trained strategic negotiator.
His rich experience gives him a level of sensitivity that enables him to match his clients’ needs appropriately in a variety of complex scenarios.

Susan Stankovic
​
Susan is driven by her passion to optimise organisational performance and improve employee engagement. She is a HR leader with significant strategic and operational experience, and has enjoyed working across a diverse range of industries, including financial services, legal, mining, manufacturing, health, corrections and agriculture. Her career has covered the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
Susan has been a trusted adviser to senior executives and a coach and mentor to frontline managers. She is a registered psychologist (BA, Dip Psych (UQ); MBA (UQ)), with a strong background in organisational psychology, leadership and talent management, change management and talent acquisition.
In addition to her consulting work, Susan is a director of The Loneliness Project, a not-for-profit company which aims to raise awareness around loneliness as a major health and social issue, providing tools to tackle loneliness across all stages of life.
